Speed Monitoring Update – A49 Warrington Road (30mph zone). I have conducted a speed monitoring session in response to community concerns raised in July. Four offences were captured, with the highest recorded speed being 38 mph. This evidence further supports your concerns. Further enforcement will be made.

F.U.N. for All – Free, United, Neighbourhoods - proposed Summer 2026 Initiative for Children in Northwich & Winsford This week I met with the manager of Hartford Golf Club and the clerk of Weaverham Parish Council to discuss launching F.U.N. for All – a FREE summer programme packed with safe, healthy, and inclusive activities for children in our communities. A funding application has been submitted to support this initiative. Planned Activities Include:
• Padel • Mad Hatters Mini Golf • Trackman Driving Range Access:
Children will receive a free voucher ticket from the Weaverham Parish Council clerk, who will log each allocation for tracking and accountability.

• Supports families during the summer holidays • Encourages fresh air and outdoor fun • Promotes good personal health and exercise • Builds positive community engagement • Helps reduce anti-social behaviour by offering safe, structured activities for young people
